Please follow the instructions which are indicated in RED color.

On the beginning, you can see 2 pages which is  one for index and the other for history of pollution.
Use 1st page for index and second page for history. Don't use the papers i gave to write.I f you have written, no problem.

History of Pollution (To be written in the second page)Make the handwriting a little big to fill one page

Pollution is not a new phenomenon. In fact, it is older than most people realize. Archeologists digging through sites of Upper Paleolithic settlements routinely find piles of discarded stone tools, and the litter from the making of these tools. One could even argue that the first use of wood-burning fire ushered in the era of air pollution. Lead pollution from Roman smelters can be traced all across Europe. Yet all this early pollution was limited in its effects on the environment. As humans moved from nomadic to settled societies, however, pollution increased in magnitude, becoming a real problem for the environment and its human and nonhuman inhabitants.
Pollution has always existed. Leather tanning, mining, coal and wood stoves are all examples of different sources of pollution.

Air Pollution (To be written at the provided page...If finished, leave it)
Air Pollution is the most prominent and dangerous form of pollution. It occurs due to many reasons. Excessive burning of fuel which is a necessity of our daily lives for cooking, driving and other industrial activities; releases a huge amount of chemical substances in the air everyday; these pollute the air.
Smoke from chimneys, factories, vehicles or burning of wood basically occurs due to coal burning; this releases sulphur dioxide into the air making it toxic. The effects of air pollution are evident too. Release of sulphur dioxide and hazardous gases into the air causes global warming and acid rain; which in turn have increased temperatures, erratic rains and droughts worldwide; making it tough for the animals to survive. We breathe in every polluted particle from the air; result is increase in asthma and cancer in the lungs

Water Pollution (To be written at the provided page...If finished, leave it)
Water Pollution has taken toll of all the surviving species of the earth. Almost 60% of the species live in water bodies. It occurs due to several factors; the industrial wastes dumped into the rivers and other water bodies cause an imbalance in the water leading to its severe contamination and death of aquatic species.
Also spraying insecticides, pesticides like DDT on plants pollutes the ground water system and oil spills in the oceans have caused irreparable damage to the water bodies. Eutrophication is another big source; it occurs due to daily activities like washing clothes, utensils near lakes, ponds or rivers; this forces detergents to go into water which blocks sunlight from penetrating, thus reducing oxygen and making it inhabitable.
Water pollution not only harms the aquatic beings but it also contaminates the entire food chain by severely affecting humans dependent on these. Water-borne diseases like cholera, diarrhea have also increased in all places.

Acid Rain (To be written at the provided page...If finished, leave it)
Acid rain is a result of air pollution. When any type of fuel is burnt, lots of different chemicals are produced. The smoke that comes from a fire or the fumes that come out of a car exhaust don't just contain the sooty grey particles that you can see - they also contains lots of invisible gases that can be even more harmful to our environment.Acidity is measured using a scale called the pH scale. This scale goes from 0 to 14. 0 is the most acidic and 14 is the most alkaline (opposite of acidic). Something with a pH value of 7, we call neutral, this means that it is neither acidic nor alkaline.
Rain is always slightly acidic because it mixes with naturally occurring oxides in the air. Unpolluted rain would have a pH value of between 5 and 6. When the air becomes more polluted with nitrogen oxides and sulphur dioxide the acidity can increase to a pH value of 4. Some rain has even been recorded as being pH2. Taj Mahal's marble is been polluted by acid rain turning white into blue

There will be 5 normal bordered pages and an un-bordered page at the last
The unbordered page can be used as the BIBLIOGRAPHY page.

THE CONTENT BELOW SHOULD START FROM THE FIRST PAGE OF THE LAST 5 UNUSED BORDERED PAGES ie. after the 'WAYS TO BECOME MORE ECO FRIENDLY'

Pollution caused by Vehicles
Road transport is one of the biggest sources of pollution in India, contributing to poor air quality, noise disturbance, congestion and climate change . Of the 160 million vehicles on our roads, 27 million are cars, whilst travel by car is often the only practicable option.
Impacts
Climate Change, Air Quality, Noise Pollution
Steps to reduce pollution caused by cars
Avoid using cars for short journeys
Care for your vehicle
Drive gently
Steady you speed
Switch off when stationary
Be considerate of those around you
Air conditioning and on board electrical devices increase fuel consumption
Share your journeys
Investigate alternatives

Stop writing and leave the rest of the pages to write for tommorow as alwin will provide the information. We could write in some free periods. We will also write the BIBLIOGRAPHY tommorow. If you can, please decorate the sticked images with glitter pen;
